Bio

Ya-Xian Mao is currently a Professor in Central China Normal University (CCNU).Her research interest has been on experimental particle physics and high-energy heavy-ion physics. In particular, her work in understanding of transport properties of elementary particles of the Standard Model to infer the fundamental properties of QCD matter. Her goal is to fully characterize jet properties (jet energy loss, azimuthal asymmetry, fragmentation properties, jet broadening, …) that probe the hot QCD system formed at present LHC and at future high luminosity LHC in high multiplicity pp, pA and AA collisions.
