On November 27th, the 2025 "Young Star" Graduate Academic Forum of the Particle Science Institute, serving as a sub-forum of the sixth "Draw from Matter, Carry Dreams; Embark with Science, Set Sail" Graduate Academic Forum of the School of Physical Science and Technology, was successfully held. The organizing committee for this year's forum was chaired by Feng Yicheng and Wei Yanbing, with judges including Chi Liping, Gong Chang, Zhang Dongliang, and Zhao Wenbin. The secretariat work was undertaken by Yuan Qiang, Ma Ya, and Shui Xiangyu.

Yin Hang delivered the opening speech for the forum. He emphasized that the forum is dedicated to building a high-quality academic exchange platform for graduate students. He encouraged the participants to showcase their research findings in their presentations and to stimulate innovative thinking through discussions. The goal is to foster an open and mutually enlightening academic atmosphere, thereby enhancing the students' capabilities in scientific research innovation and academic expression.

This forum featured two segments: a poster presentation session and an oral presentation session. In the poster display area, numerous students systematically showcased their research findings through display boards, attracting both faculty and students who stopped to view the posters and engage in lively discussions.

During the oral presentation session, 22 presenters utilized PowerPoint slides to elaborate on their research topics, methodologies, and innovative findings. Both the judging panel and the audience actively raised questions regarding the content of the presentations, fostering a practical and in-depth atmosphere for discussion.

After the presentation session, Wang Xinnian delivered a concluding speech for this year’s forum. He first expressed full affirmation of the organizational effectiveness of the event, noting that this year’s forum fostered a particularly vibrant atmosphere for on-site exchange. Furthermore, he extended his hopes to all participating students, encouraging them to maintain their curiosity and passion for exploring scientific questions, achieve greater breakthroughs through solid work, and collectively contribute to the continuous upward development of the academic ecosystem at the Institute of Particle Physics.
Following a comprehensive evaluation by the organizing committee, outstanding works were selected from both the poster presentation and oral presentation sessions. Wang Xinnian presented awards to the winning students and took commemorative photos with them. The event concluded successfully in a warm and solemn academic atmosphere.
This year’s "Young Star" Graduate Academic Forum not only effectively facilitated in-depth exchanges among various research topics within the field but also stimulated innovation in research thinking and intellectual碰撞 among the students. The successful hosting of the forum has not only provided a high-quality academic exchange platform for graduate students of the school but has also fully demonstrated the students' solid research foundation and proactive spirit of exploration. It has injected new momentum into enhancing the quality of graduate education and strengthening discipline development.
