Title:Probing the Higgs Boson and Beyond -- Future Colliders in Particle Physics

Abstract:
The discovery of a Higgs-like boson at the Large Hadron Collider in 2012
was a major achievement in particle physics. Experimental efforts are
ongoing to confirm that it is the Higgs boson predicted by the Standard
Model. More importantly, physicists wish to build new powerful lepton
colliders to fully study this unusual particle, in order to probe
nature, and to attempt to discover new physics. The colloquium will
focus on initiatives for new, large-scale accelerators designed to study
the Higgs boson in detail
