Abstract:
We show that the thermodynamics of contined phase of OOD and pure gauge theory can be inked to theunderlying dual-strng theory, (onsidering the parity doublet model., we discuss properties of susceptibilities andtheir ratios for nucleons of positive and negative parity, as well as their correlators, We link such fuctuations withthose of net-baryon to probe the chiral, as well as nuclear liquid-gas phase transitions. Introducing the importanceof global correlations of baryons due to exact conservation laws and their repulsive and attractive interactionsnear chiral phase transition, we formulate a phenomenological Monte-Carlo model to describe fluctuations inHlC. We focus on cumulants and factorial cumulants of net(proton) fluctuations and present a quantitativecomparison ofmodel predictions and recent STAR and HADES experimental data
Speaker Profile:
Prof. Dr. Krzysztof Redlich, professor at the University of Wroclawin Poland, is the head of the Department of Elementary ParticlAcademy of Sciences, and a member of AlICFPhysics and Nuclear Astrophysics. He is a memberof the Polish and FuropeatCollaboration at CERN. His research focuses on how experimentation with nuclear beams, heayy-ion collisions (HIC), can be used tidentify collective effects with thermalisation and the phase change of dense hadronic matter to a quark-gluon plasma (0Gp) Hitheoretical works are linked to HC phenomenology, thermal field theory and latticegauge theory. He was awarded the Alexander yonHumboldt Scientific Prize and the Smoluchowski Warburg Medal by the German and Polish Physical Societies. The University ofBieleteld in (ermany has honoured him with a Doctorate Honoris Causa. this year, he received the Minister of Science prestigiousaward in Poland. He served at the Scientific Policy Commitee (SPC) at CERN, the Scientific Council at GSI and FAlR. He is amember of SAC ofC3NT at CCNU.
