Title:Spectroscopic Investigation of Λ Hypernuclei by the (e, e' K+) Reaction

Abstract: Hypernuclear spectroscopy is a powerful tool to investigate ΛN interaction. Compared with other Λhypernuclei productions, electroproduction via the (e, e K+) reaction has the advantage of exciting states deeplyinside of the hypernucleus and achieving sub-MeV energy resolution. The experiment E05-115, which was successfullyperformed in 2009, is the third generation hypernuclear experiment in JLab Hall C. The analysis of the experimentprovides the clearest level structure to the date of this hypernucleus produced by the (e, e K+) reaction. This talkwill give the introduction of the Λ hypernuclei, the experiment of E05-115, and discuss the results on the spectraof 12B, 7 He, and 10Be.
