Title: The First Physics Run of Muon g-2 experiment at Fermilab
Abstract:
The muon g-2 experiment at Fermilab aims to measure the muon anomalous
magnetic moment with an unprecedented precision of 140 ppb. Together
with recent improvements on the theory front, this measurement will help
unravel the discrepancy seen between the SM prediction and experiment
value from the previous BNL experiment. This talk presents an overview
of the first physics run which was taken in 2018 and the current status
of the muon g-2 experiment.
