Title:   Puzzles in heavy ion collisions – how do we solve them using EM probes?

Abstract:   I will present recent progress on using electro-magnetic probes to study the hot, dense medium created in heavy ion collisions. These probes include dielectrons, thermal photons, and quarkonia. Future perspectives will also be discussed.
