Title: New CP-violation effect in charm decays into neutral kaons
Abstract: CP violation in charm physics is useful to search for new
physics. We find a new CP-violation effect in charm decays into neutral
kaons, which results from the effect of mother decay and daughter
mixing. This effect, estimated to be of an order of 10−3, is much larger
than the direct CP asymmetries in these decays, but missed in the
literature. It can be revealed by measuring the difference of the CP
asymmetries in the D+→ π+KS and Ds+ → K+KS modes, which are accessible
at the LHCb and Belle II experiments. We will also show that CP
violation in such decay modes is more promising to search for new
physics at a tree level.

Title: Mixing and CPV Violation in Charm: Status and Prospects
Abstract: This talk will cover the underlying physics associated with
oscillations of neutral D mesons into their corresponding antiparticles
(called mixing) and the possible asymmetries between decays or
oscillations of particles on one hand and antiparticles on the other
(called CP violation). The relationships between complementary types of
measurements will be emphasized, along with the interplay of
experimental measurements and phenomenology.
