Title:Spin asymmetries in deep inelastic scattering at NLO
Abstract: One of the most important challenges facing subatomic physics
today is the understanding of complexity structure of nucleons in terms
of quarks and gluons. The process of deep inelastic scattering has been
regarded as the most clean channel in understanding the inner structure
of nucleon, and has provided accurate information about the standard
parton distribution functions. However, precise determination of the
spin dependent PDFs is still lacking and high order pQCD computation of
spin dependent observables is highly demanded. I this talk, I will
present next-to-leading computation of Sivers weighted asymmetry in
semi-inclusive deep inelastic scattering and double longitudinal spin
asymmetry for inclusive jet production in deep inelastic scattering. We
elucidate the role of different kinematic regions in probing different
aspects of proton and photon spin structure and study the impact of the
future Electron-Ion Collider on the measurement of polarized PDFs.
